CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF PENDULUM CHARMS!
The Pendulum Charm Guide: Discover Your Shape
It’s officially been one year since I launched the Pendulum Charms. When I first made them, I thought I was making three really personal, one-of-a-kind pendants that mostly my family would like. Little did I know that within one year, I’d make so many more Pendulums than I could ever imagine. I can't thank you enough for this encouragement and support.
Now that the Pendulum Charm series has grown and there are currently nine different shapes, I know it can be overwhelming to choose.
This guide is here to help those who are drawn to the collection but aren’t sure which charm speaks to them the most.
Below, I’ll share thoughts on each style, from my design perspective.

Stone Shape: ROUND
Pendulum Charm No. 1
This is the Pendulum that started it all - and the one I wear every single day.
With its soft curves and perfectly round silhouette, Pendulum Charm No. 1 has no defined front or back. It rolls gently as you move and the symmetry brings a calming sense to the touch.

Stone Shape: ROUND or OVAL
Pendulum Charm No. 2
The only Pendulum designed to hold either an oval or a round stone, Pendulum Charm No. 2 is all about soft movement and gentle elongation.
I shaped it with a gradual curve toward the neck and a subtly fluted base that cradles the stone with a bit more prominence.
Because of the wider base, this charm moves with you - turning and shifting with a sense of fluidity.

Stone Shape: OVAL
Pendulum Charm No. 3
Short, smooth, and quietly present - Pendulum Charm No. 3 is one of the more compact shapes in the collection. Its soft bell-shape silhouette sits flush with the chest, feeling simple and grounding.
The curved surface has the comfort of a worry stone - small enough to be discreet, substantial enough to hold.
If you're looking for a more understated Pendulum Charm, this might be the one for you.

Stone Shape: OVAL
Pendulum Charm No. 5
Originally designed as a longer counterpart to No. 3, Pendulum No. 5 adds soft ridging and a sense of flow throughout the form.
It's still compact enough to sit close to the chest, but has more length and fluidity in form.
The ridges offer a gentle rhythm to the touch - almost like the feeling of running your fingers over a water-worn shell.

Stone Shape: OVAL
Pendulum Charm No. 6
No. 6 is the most dramatic silhouette in the collection - designed with intentional contrast between the slender neck and the weightier, ridged base. The shape gradually expands downward, where the stone is hugged by soft ridging.

Stone Shape: OVAL
Pendulum Charm No. 7
Designed in collaboration with Kylie from OKAYFINE, No. 7 is a limited-edition piece created exclusively with peridot. Its softened rectangular base cradles an oval cabochon, flush-set for a clean and grounded feel. The long, twisted neck adds a quiet tension — delicate above, solid below.
This is the longest Pendulum I’ve made to date. Its vertical form makes it ideal for stacking with smaller charms, yet it has enough presence to stand completely on its own. There’s a sculptural clarity to it — strong, dimensional, and deliberate.

Stone Shape: ROUND
Pendulum Charm No. 8
The second piece designed in collaboration with Kylie from OKAYFINE, Pendulum Charm No. 8 is a limited-edition charm created exclusively with a salt and pepper diamond. A round rose-cut stone is flush-set into a soft square base — grounded, subtle, and full of quiet shimmer. The twisted neck adds just the right amount of tension, balancing delicacy with structure.
This is the shortest Pendulum I’ve ever made. Its compact size makes it a perfect addition to a layered necklace stack, or even a charm bracelet. Small, but sculptural — with just enough edge.

Stone Shape: OVAL
Pendulum Charm No. 9
An evolution of two of the most-loved Pendulums, No. 9 brings together the compact, bell-like form of No. 3 with the bold, sculptural ridging of No. 6. The result is a small but powerful shape with just enough texture to draw the fingers in.
It’s balanced, tactile, and quietly striking. A piece that feels both familiar and fresh.
STILL TORN BETWEEN SHAPES?
HERE ARE A FEW QUESTIONS TO HELP GUIDE YOU:
- Do you feel more drawn to smooth, minimal surfaces — or to shapes with ridges, curves, and texture under your fingertips?
- Will you be wearing your Pendulum solo as a statement, or layered with other charms?
- Are you naturally drawn to round or oval forms?
- Do you want a piece that rolls on your chest as you move, or one that stays more centered and grounded?
- Are you someone who fidgets or touches your jewelry throughout the day? (If yes, the ridging texture might be your friend.)
Still not sure?
Don't worry - sometimes all it takes is seeing it in motion or talking it out.
