“And what is it to work with love?
It is to weave the cloth with threads drawn from your heart, even as if your beloved were to wear that cloth.
It is to build a house with affection, even as if your beloved were to dwell in that house.
It is to sow seeds with tenderness and reap the harvest with joy, even as if your beloved were to eat the fruit.
It is to charge all things you fashion with a breath of your own spirit…
Work is love made visible.”
-Khalil Gibran in The Prophet

Caroline Eleanor Absher is a painter, art director, and film production designer living in Brooklyn.
A few months ago, I came across Caroline on Instagram and I was immediately interested in learning more about what she does. She is constantly running around the city, working with other artists, making beautiful things, and always has a warm smile on her face.
Caroline openly shares her day-to-day life, work, personal thoughts, and struggles. What strikes me the most is how positive she seems to stay throughout her day and how much she loves what she does. It’s rare to find someone like Caroline, who openly talks about how much she enjoys her work, while also expressing humble gratitude. I am inspired by her strong will, drive, openness, and love for her craft.
Caroline’s Eleanor Absher’s work is her love, made visible.
